Get Buckets with Coach Gus Gauntlett & Friends brings together coaches around the world to share their go-to play when they are down 1 point with 10 seconds left in the game. We are building a learning community of coaches who want to share their ideas for the world of basketball to use.

Season 1 Episode 3 - Frank Allocco Jr. won a California State Championship as a player at Northgate High and then went on to win two more State Championships at De La Salle as an Assistant Coach to his father and legendary coach, Frank Allocco Sr. This episode features amazing insight from Coach Allocco Jr. and even a classic State Championship story from De La Salle's 2000 season where Joe See made 2 free throws to win the championship with less than 3 seconds left. Frank Allocco Jr. was recently hired as the Boys Varsity Coach at Clayton Valley Charter High School and is also the Program Director at ASA Basketball which also houses the Prime AAU program out of Walnut Creek, CA.

​​Season 1 Episode 6 - After being the founding Head Coach of the Women's Program at UC Merced, Kevin Pham now enters his 6th Season as Head Coach of the Men's Team. Kevin joins Get Buckets this week and brings some amazing video of a great play that led to a wide open 3.

​​​Season 1 Episode 12 - Valley Christian Boys Asst. Head Coach Shawn Hook brings 20 years of basketball coaching experience to the show and details his story of coaching hoops and football. Coach Hook is also a P.E. teacher at my alma mater and he draws up a great play called "Rebel" his teams have used to win some big games.

BG is the CEO of LES Express, a Puma-sponsored summer tournament in New York City's Lower East Side, he is also the CEO of Be Great Sports Training, co-host of Commissioner's Corner Podcast, and Coach + Assistant Director with Team Exodus of the EYBL.

Season 1 Episode 5 - Los Gatos Girls Varsity Coach Sara Quilici joins us for Episode 5. After getting her first coaching job at age 19, she has coached in AAU programs and now enters her 3rd season at Los Gatos. Learn a great new play from Coach Sara and one from Coach Gus Gauntlett inspired by the Miami Heat's coaching staff which drew up a true GET BUCKETS play at the end of Game 4 against the Bucks.

Season 1 Episode 4 - Justin Fujihara is the Founder and Co-Director of GAMETIME Basketball. He has over twenty years of coaching experience on a multi-level capacity. This year, he enters his sixth season as Varsity Head Coach of the Women’s Basketball Program at Wilcox High School, in Santa Clara. Prior to his arrival at Wilcox, Justin spent seven seasons on staff at Presentation High School, in San Jose, as Varsity Assistant Coach and Junior Varsity Head Coach. The Panthers were Central Coast Section Division II Champions (2010-11, 2012-13) and West Catholic Athletic League Champions (2010-11). He was coach for the Women’s Basketball Program at Leland High School (2001-07), in San Jose, and Homestead High School (2000-01), in Cupertino. Justin served as both Varsity Assistant Coach and Junior Varsity Head Coach at Leland, and Varsity Assistant Coach at Homestead. He spent one season on staff for the Men’s Basketball Program at San Jose State University (2006-07).

Season 1 Episode 2 - 6x CCS Champion Coach Wade Nakamura joins Get Buckets this week and shares one his favorite plays to get a bucket. Wade comes from a successful basketball coaching family, the son of legendary Berkeley High School Women's Coach Gene Nakamura, Wade has cemented is own legacy with 6 CCS titles (2 at Homestead High + 4 at Presentation High). Entering his 24th season as a coach, Wade shares his experiences and thoughts on how his coaching style has changed over time and what has helped lead to his teams' success.
